Just watched the Godfather again the other day. I ended up doing a bunch of 30 second sketches trying to find some fun shapes, and then opened up illustrator and spend three hours doing this at work yesterday. I think drawing from memory and only checking a reference every once in awhile to confirm choices has definately helped. Hope you like.

Here is my take on Beat Takeshi. He is one of Japan's biggest media personalities.

Happy New Years 2010

2010 is the year of the tiger according to the Zodiac Calendar. Here in Japan, everyone puts that year's animal on their New Years cards. I don't send New Years cards but I did want to thank everyone who visited my blog and especially those who commented.
